At Capstone Hospice, every member of our team plays a pivotal role in delivering care that’s not just about meeting physical needs but also about nurturing the spirit. This month, we are proud to recognize Brandy Mazloum as our Hero of the Month, a team member whose dedication to hospice work is both inspiring and heartwarming.
Brandy sees her work in hospice not just as a job, but as a calling. She believes that the journey toward the end of life is one that should be accompanied by care, dignity, and open conversation. Her approach centers around empowering individuals with the freedom to make choices about their end-of-life care, and ensuring that families are supported, both during their loved one’s journey and after.
Working at Capstone has been a source of pride for Brandy, particularly due to the level of competence and excellence she encounters daily within the Psychosocial Department. She considers it an honor to work alongside staff who are not only experienced but also skilled in delivering care that’s as compassionate as it is competent.
When she’s not dedicating her time to her work, Brandy enjoys an array of activities that reflect her zest for life. She’s an avid tennis and pickleball player, finds solace in hiking and yoga, and has a penchant for collecting shells. Cooking, watching stand-up comedy, creating music playlists, and traveling are among the diverse interests that keep her energized and fulfilled.
We at Capstone Hospice are truly fortunate to have Brandy Mazloum as part of our family. Her commitment to her calling, her appreciation for her colleagues, and her passion for life are qualities that resonate within our community. Brandy, congratulations on being our Hero of the Month. Your exemplary work and dedication are an inspiration to us all.
